Privacy Policy

CompressResize is designed for private browser-based image processing.

Images stay on your device

Images selected in CompressResize are processed locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to a CompressResize server, stored in a database or sent to an external image API.

No accounts or login

CompressResize does not provide accounts, login, user profiles or cloud storage.

No image storage

CompressResize does not store your images in LocalStorage, IndexedDB or cookies. The browser may temporarily hold selected files and generated previews in memory while you use the tool.

Device preferences and temporary attribution

CompressResize can save non-image preferences on your device. This currently includes custom batch settings in LocalStorage, and the dismissed language suggestion plus campaign or referral attribution in SessionStorage. These values do not contain image files, image names or image contents. You can remove them using your browser's site-data controls.

First-party usage analytics

When you use a tool, CompressResize can record an operational event through a same-site endpoint. An event may contain the tool action, page path, language, input and output byte counts, number of processed files, whether a target was reached, and a shortened campaign or referring-domain label.

These events never include the image, its pixels, preview, file name or downloaded result. They are used to understand which workflows succeed and where the product needs improvement.

Cloudflare analytics

CompressResize uses Cloudflare Web Analytics and Cloudflare Analytics Engine to understand aggregate traffic, product usage and performance. Analytics are not used to upload, inspect or store your images.

Advertising and cookies

CompressResize uses Google AdSense to fund the service. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, device information, IP addresses and browsing activity to deliver, measure and protect ads. Depending on your location and consent choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

Where required, a consent message is shown before advertising storage or personalized advertising is enabled. You can accept, reject or manage the available choices in that message. More information is available inGoogle's advertising policiesandGoogle's privacy policy.

You can reopen the consent controls at any time using Privacy and cookie settings in the footer.

User responsibility

You should only process images that you own or have permission to use.
