Know whether an image will fit before you upload it
Upload forms often combine several technical rules: a maximum file size, exact or maximum pixel dimensions, and an accepted format. An image can satisfy two rules and still be rejected by the third.
Paste a sentence such as 'JPG, maximum 100 KB, exact 600 x 600 pixels' or enter the values manually. CompressResize reads common wording locally, checks each rule and creates a corrected file when possible.
Compare the original and corrected image with the visual slider before downloading. You can also share a preconfigured requirements link and, on supported phones, send the corrected file through the device share menu.

What does this checker validate?
It compares file size, pixel dimensions and JPG, PNG or WebP format with the requirements you enter.
What requirement text can I paste?
It recognizes common file sizes in KB or MB, dimensions such as 600x600, width and height wording, exact or maximum dimensions, and JPG, PNG or WebP formats.
What is the difference between exact and maximum dimensions?
Exact requires both pixel values to match. Maximum accepts any image that stays at or below the entered width and height.
Can I see what changed before downloading?
Yes. After correction, the comparison slider shows the original and corrected image together with both file sizes, dimensions and the final file name.
Does the shared link contain my image?
No. It contains only the file-size, dimension and format settings. Images always remain on the device where they are selected.
Why is the corrected-image share button not visible?
It only appears when the browser confirms that it can share files through the device menu. The download button remains available everywhere else.
Can this guarantee a portal will accept the image?
It validates the technical rules entered here. A portal may also enforce content, naming, DPI or identity-photo rules that require a separate check.
