About CompressResize

CompressResize is a free collection of image tools for everyday tasks like compression, resizing, format conversion, square crops and icon creation.

How it works

The tools use browser APIs such as File API, Canvas, Blob and object URLs. The site is static and does not need a backend, database or user account.

Privacy

Images are processed locally in your browser. CompressResize does not upload your images to a server and does not store them in a database.

Limitations

Browser-based tools depend on your device memory, browser canvas limits and available image format support. Some target sizes cannot be reached without resizing or quality loss.
